Of oval form with deep sides, decorated with famille rose enamels, painted with a peacock and peahen perched on a branch and surrounded by peony and other blooms, set with a pair of deer head handles, a foliate border to the foot, the cover and base similarly decorated with a peacock and peahen among peony, encircled by a floral border to the rim, the cover surmounted with a moulded pomegranate finial.
