何维朴，字诗孙，晚号盘止，亦号盘叟，又号秋华居士、晚遂老人，室名颐素斋、盘梓山房。何绍基之孙。湖南道县人。同治六年（1867）副贡，官内阁中书，协办侍读，江苏候补知府。工书、画。画以山水著称，书摹其祖绍基，亦得其神似。少精篆刻，宗秦汉，晚年倦于酬世不复作。
款识：大痴老人画，出奇峭于平澹之中，寓婀娜于刚健之内，《浮峦》、《沙碛》二图发挥尽矣。麓台一生专师，始求力透纸背，归于无笔不灵，无笔不秀，不见用力之迹，乃能得其三昧，故奉常以形神俱得许之。维朴。
