The Roman and Arabic dial with gilt highlights over an Arabic alarm-setting dial within a plain gilt mask. The three spring barrel movement with a silvered jewelled English lever platform escapement and a cut and compensated bimetallic balance, rack striking and repeating on four hammers and four blued steel gongs, engraved English directions on the back plate around the winding squares.
