The substantial twin chain fusee movement with Harrison's maintaining power to the going train terminating in a large gilt platform with cut and compensated bimetallic balance to an underslung English lever escapement, the hourly strike acting on a circular-section blued steel coiled gong, (strike/silent lever mounted in the upper left hand corner of the signed and numbered backplate).
