A first half of the 18th century ebonised table clock with pull quarter repeat, moonphase and moon's ageJonathan Hodges, St. Clements Lane, Nr Lombard Street, LondonThe inverted bell top with handle and brass banding over side panels framed in brass and a brass-bound plinth on brass block feet, the 6.75 inch arched brass dial signed in a silvered arc (incorporating a strike/silent lever) framing the painted and engraved rolling moon over a wheatear border, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with half-quarter marks around a matted centre set with three apertures for moon's age, date and mock pendulum.
