Frame; Spain, late 19th century. Stuccoed and gilded wood. Measurements: 56 x 45 cm; 40,5 x 30 cm. Frame in carved and gilded wood that is structured in three registers, an inner perimeter of fine band with a smooth finish. In the intermediate register we can appreciate a carved ornamentation in the form of small balls that follow one another forming a chain and finally, the outer band with an ornamentation of vegetal character that presents a great volume and a much more intricate ornamental pattern. This is made up of vegetal elements that are arranged over the entire surface, following the style of the Baroque period.
