Trained in Valencia, Madrid, Paris and Rome, he was awarded his first prize in a university competition in 1954, and it was then that he decided to devote himself to painting. He exhibited all over the world and played an important role in the cultural development of the Valencian scene. He was also awarded the National Painting Prize in 1976. He is currently represented in the Museum of Vilafamés, the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, the IVAM and other public and private collections.
