A SANCAI-GLAZED 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' SQUARE DISH, LIAO DYNASTY China, 907-1125. Well potted with everted sides rising from a flat base to a foliate rim, the interior delicately molded in shallow relief with a large chrysanthemum bloom wreathed in trefoil leaves, the sides with flowerheads and scrolling vines, all in amber and emerald-green glazes reserved on a cream ground and pooling nicely in the recesses. The exterior applied with an amber glaze stopping above the base to reveal the reddish-buff colored body.

Provenance: British trade.
Condition: Very good condition with some old wear, minor glaze flaking, minuscule nicks and manufacturing flaws such as scattered glaze spots. Three distinct spur marks inside the well.

遼代三彩團花紋
中國，907-1125年。盤四方花口，口微敞，平底。盤內四面立壁均分飾，內飾花卉兩朵，花卉兩側對稱飾卷雲紋。盤內底四角飾葉紋，底心模印團菊一朵。盤內施黃，綠，白三色釉彩，盤外施半釉。

品相：狀況非常好，有一些磨損、輕微的釉層剝落、微小的劃痕和製造瑕疵，如散落的釉點。盤內三個明顯的點痕。
