A YUE CELADON-GLAZED BOX AND COVER, FIVE DYNASTIES China, 907-979. Of circular form with straight sides, the domed cover neatly incised with an elaborate design of two concentric flowerheads formed by three registers of stylized leaves. Covered overall in a pale olive-green glaze.

Inscriptions: To the cover of the wood storage box, 'Yue Celadon Ceramic' and 'Southern Dynasty', one seal 'Chusong An'.

Provenance: C.C. Teng & Co., Taipei. A Japanese private collection, acquired from the above. The Xinyangtang Collection, acquired from the above. The Xinyangtang Collection was formed in Hong Kong over the last 30 years with great passion and under the guidance of renowned scholars. Ceramics from the collection have been offered at Sotheby's in multiple sales over the past years, beginning in 2018.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear and manufacturing irregularities, including spur marks and firing cracks, small chips to the rim of the cover, one chip with an old repair and associated minor crack (approx. 2.5 cm), and light surface scratches.

五代越窯青釉蓋盒
中國，907-979年。圓形，直邊，圓蓋上刻有兩個同心花葉紋。通體施淡綠色釉。

款識：越窯青磁，南朝時代，楚頌庵

來源：臺北C.C. Teng & Co.；日本私人收藏，購於上述藝廊；心懩堂收藏購於上述收藏。三十年前，心懩堂在著名學者的指導下，懷著極大的熱情在香港成立。從 2018年開始，該收藏的陶瓷多次在蘇富比拍賣。
品相：狀況良好，有輕微磨損和製造瑕疵，包括刺痕和燒製裂紋、蓋子邊緣有小磕損，一個帶有修復和相應輕微裂紋（約 2.5 厘米）的碎屑以及輕微的表面劃痕。
