Garniture with clock and candlesticks; Napoleon III period, 19th century. Gilded bronze and white marble. Measurements: 47 x 63 x 14,5 cm. Garniture for fireplace composed of a clock and two candelabra made in bronze on white marble bases. In the case of the candelabra, these have the same design, raised on three bronze legs topped with vegetal ornaments in the form of leaves in the upper area. Subsequently, the circular marble base, also decorated with a filigree in the form of a fretwork composed of scrolls, gives way to the conical, fluted shaft of the candelabra. Three lights emanate from this area, a central one flanked on its dalos. In the case of the clock, the legs have the same design as the candelabra, although in this case the base is square and on it is placed the bronze clock, which has four legs joined at the front by the presence of a garland, which is exempt from the case, in such a way as to provide great stylisation. The body of the clock has a white dial with black Arabic numerals and openwork bronze hands. The upper part of the clock is topped with a round figure of a child holding his index finger to his mouth, asking for silence.
