A CONTINENTAL MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERSEARLY 19TH CENTURYThe arrangement of drawers flanked by figural pilasters 100cm high, 127cm wide, 60cm deep品相报告: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useOld splits and cracks, some chips and losses, the veneers to the sides and top of this chest have old cracks. One side of the top with area of distressing to the polish, overall this would benefit from a sympathetic clean and polish.The drawers each have holes to their fronts where handles have previously been placed. Also marks and indentations where escutcheons have been placed.Due to the lack of these elements, the drawers are difficult to open and there are no keys present. The guilt and ebonised pilasters have knocks, chips and losses including modern repair to one arm.Signs of old glue repair around one front leg. The back boards appear to be original and with some splits and cracks. There have been some chips, losses and replacements to some sections of veneer.Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition
