It has a cleaned and polished appearance and refreshing to the ebonised elements which may also date from this period There are two keys present, whilst these do operate the two locks (one key each) the doors have shrunk and do not meet in the middle and secure - an additional piece of timber may need to be fitted to secure or alternative remedies sought from a restorer.
