Spanish frame, 17th century. Carved and polychrome wood. Wear and tear due to the weight of time. Measurements: 81 x 65 cm; 101 x 84 cm (frame). Baroque frame made of carved and polychromed wood, with a typical structure of this period: rectangular, with simple moulding on the inside, but with raised angles on the outside, to which are added the projections, also straight, in the centre of each of the sides. The exterior and interior profiles are defined by carved mouldings, and the projections are decorated with symmetrical compositions of acanthus, also worked in relief, developing into fleshy vegetal groups.
