Spanish mirror of the XVII century. Carved and gilded wood. Original moon. Slight restorations. Some faults, wear to the polychromy. Xylophages. Measurements: 70 x 52 cm. Baroque mirror with original moon. The carving is developed in dynamic foliated fretwork, distributed symmetrically on each side with corbels from which plant shoots emerge, between scrolls and acanthus. The lower part is decorated with a festoon of foliage. All of this ornamental display is set on the inside of the frame in a moulded rectangular structure. The combination of the inner geometric profile with the outer mixtilinear profile is characteristic of the Baroque period.
