Spanish Baroque school, 17th century. Pair of ornaments with seraphs. In carved, polychromed and gilded wood. Retains original polychromy. Some damage and a few flaws. Traces of xylophages. Measurements: 51 x 20 x 14 cm. Pair of baroque carvings in the shape of seraphs with rounded faces, between vegetal bouquets based on scrolls and floral corollas with fleshy petals. The angelic heads, resting on two wings, are crowned with acanthus leaves. The faces, with their puffy, bulging cheeks, are framed by wavy hair whose curves dialogue with the dynamic designs of the typically Baroque foliage.
