Measurements: 78 x 74 x 65 cm. Pair of Louis XV armchairs with carved walnut wood structure. It is a pair of armchairs characterised by the successful ornamentation in all its set. Thus, we see cabriole legs, moulded profiles (especially at the waist and on the crest) and sinuous curved forms typical of Louis XV furniture. In this case it is worth highlighting the upholstery of both pieces with vegetal and studded motifs. The Louis XV style corresponds to courtly French Rococo, the main style of this century. However, the usual movement of these examples is softened as an influence of works already in the Neoclassical style of the 19th century.
