Pair of hard stone obelisks. First half of the 20th century. Hard stone, greyish colour and black vein. Very slight chipping. Measurements: 27 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm. The obelisk is a decorative piece that is highly appreciated all over the world. It is a stone monument in the shape of a pillar, with a square section, with four equal, slightly converging trapezoidal faces, topped at the top by a small pyramid. Obelisks were used prominently in Ancient Egypt.
