The stone in a matching, lacquered wood box with cover.. China, Qing dynasty

With a smooth grinding surface, carved around the recessed inkwell with a neatly incised rain and cloud border, the stone of a purplish-brown color.

Shape: Rectangular form, the base with a recessed rectangular reserve
Dimensions: The stone 15.8 x 10.4 x 1.8 cm. The box 17 x 11.5 x 3.5 cm.
Condition: The stone with some wear and surface scratches, and one chip to the lower right corner. The box with extensive damage to the lacquer.
Provenance: Austrian private collection. Old collector’s numbers “20342 Or. 3532” inscribed both on the stone and the box.

光滑的研磨表面，盛墨汁処凹陷，四周整齊的雨雲邊，整塊石頭呈
紫褐色。
形狀：長方形，底座一下面有一個凹進的空間
尺寸：石硯15,8 x 10,4 x 1,8厘米；盒子17 x 11,5 x 3,5 厘米
石硯有一些磨損和表面劃痕，右下角有小磕損。木盒表面漆彩受損
較多。
