Amber of untreated honey-golden color with natural dark inclusions mainly to backside, small bone spoon (a later addition). China, Qing dynasty

This miniature water dropper is shaped as a figurative tea pot and carved from amber. On top of the lid we find a guardian lion dog and the handle resembles a cherry blossom branch. At the backside peaches are shown in high relief.
