Painted in vivid and detailed enamels as well as iron red and gold on white ground, the foot rim with a turquoise glaze, the inside with a transparent glaze. China, Qing dynasty, circa 1785
Delicately painted to depict carious courtly scenes as well as landscapes and various birds on trees.
Shape: Flattened rectangular shape with sprawling neck, phoenix handles on both shoulders, each painted medallion with a raised, gilt and curved border
Dimensions: Height 24.8 cm each
Condition: Excellent, with minor wear
