Depiction of three magpies on blossoming branches of a plum tree. Two magpies sitting on the branches, another bird flying towards them. Inscribed in the painting at the upper right side in Chinese ‘In the spring of the year Bingzi, in the style of Hua Qiuyue, Luo Anxian painted in the Huncao hall’ and signed with 2 artist seals ‘Sanfeng’ and ‘Luo Anxian’. Inscribed on the outside of the scroll ‘50640-72’.
