Triangular carving in the slender shape of a stylized cicada with angular head and very pointed fins, the facet frontside with finely cut cicada relief in archaic style, the head with articulated eyes, fine grooves delineating the head, the wings with a finely incised C-scroll pattern, verso with incised lines and grooves outlining the animal’s abdomen.
Shape: Triangular shape with rounded edges, the facet frontside with incised and cut relief, the curved and domed verso with finely incised lines and drilling hole for the mounting, the corresponding drilling hole at the tip of the head
Dimensions: 6 cm (height), 2,3 cm (width), 1,7 cm (depth)
Condition: Good condition, a very minor chip to the pointed fin
