TWO GREEN AND BLUE GROUND THANGKASTibet, 18th/19th centuryDepicting a monk holding a conch shell, a figure of Dhritarashtra and a blue guardian with sword attribute, with other five smaller figures of lamas, all against a green and blue ground; together with a thangka with a central figure of Buddha Shakyamuni holding an alms bowl flanked by two attendants, and surrounded by rows of small hundreds Shakyamuni.
