Ca. 1550-1200 BC.A well moulded Holy Land terracotta jug with a globular-shaped body. The vessel is short, with a cylindrical neck, the walls vertical, expanding outwards towards the globular body which is sat upon a flat base. The jug has a wide mouth with a slightly everted rim. Two twin handles are attached to the rim and shoulder. A decorated moulded trail protrudes from the body on either side.Size: L:150mm / W:134mm ; 520gProvenance: Property of a London gallery; formerly in High Wycombe Estate collection; formerly acquired on the UK Art market.
