A GEORGE III PASTE COLLAR NECKLACE AND A FRENCH PASTE RING CIRCA 1780The collar composed of eight graduating calibré cut white paste flower heads in silver closed back settings, with gold accented scrolled feathers between, with belcher link looped ends; together with a French white paste set ring, the circular panel set with graduated circular and cushion cut white stones, to shaped flared shoulders, the shank stamped with Paris généralité 1774-1780 poinçonSize/dimensions: 17.3cm long; finger size approximately J 1\2Gross weight: 45.8 grams品相报告: The collar has had repairs between nearly all links as originally it looks like the collar wasn't articulated, and may not have looked as it does now- there are a couple of channels behind the central flowerheads, there have been some losses of flower heads, as the flower heads to each side do not exactly mirror each other. One of the pastes to the side of a flower head has been repaired at the back. The belcher link chains are later, and the measurement does not include the chains. The ring has abrasion to the tops of the pastes, general wear to the setting from age and use. The stamp has rubbing but still identifiable. The ring size is approximately as the shank is slightly D shaped
