山子以和田白玉整块籽料随形而雕，选料硕大，材质上乘，玉质细腻温润，基本保留了材料之原有形状，并留玉皮为山岩之色。一面雕海水帆船，船只行驶于滚滚江涛之中，船上人物刻画细致，五官轮廓分明，线条简洁通畅，刀笔干净利索。襞褶稠叠，衣纹翻折刻画得淋漓尽致，层次感丰富。远处高山耸立，林木掩映，亭台楼阁。另一面山间虬松耸立，枝叶繁茂有仙鹤徜徉其中神鹿立于山间，寓意鹤鹿同春。透过山间石缝看到涛涛波浪。本山子采立体雕刻，加之运用高浮雕之技法，于尺幅之地运筹帷幄，构图错落有致，层次分明，人物神态和谐安详，动物栩栩如生，灵动传神，意境高雅，令人赏心悦目，实为玉雕山子之杰作，置于案头，堪称佳品。附红木山子底座。
