Description A LOBED CLOISONNÉ 'BUTTERFLY AND PEONIES' DISH, c. 1920sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) - Republic period (1912-1949). Of lobed form with gilt rim and base, the sides decorated in cloisonné enamels depicting scrolling vines and with a gilt rim, the center painted with peonies issuing from a rock and a butterfly. The recessed base with an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark.Condition: Very good condition, minor wear, a small nick to the upper rim, light surface scratches, expected pitting.Provenance: French private collection.Weight: 200 gDimensions: Length 12.2 cm
