Description A CARVED WOOD FIGURE OF SHOULAO, c. 1900sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The standing immortal is carved wearing long flowing robes, with a smiling and benevolent expression on his face. He is holding a tall, gnarled staff in one hand and a large peach in the other, with a finger citron and a further peach attached to the belt behind.Condition: Good condition with minor wear, age cracks, a small loss to the base and a chip to the robe.
