Description A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'FISH AND CRANE' PENDANT, c. 1920sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Carved as a crane and a fish emerging from a wavy sea. The stone of an elegant pale celadon hue with dark russet areas and veining, well-polished. The top pierced for suspension.Condition: Excellent good condition with minor surface wear. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
