Description A SMALL GE-TYPE VASE, TOUHU, c. 1920sChina, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) – Republic period (1912-1949). The well-potted vase with a globular body bearing two horizontally incised bowstring lines, rising to a flaring rounded lip and flanked by a pair of cylindric 'touhu' handles. Covered in a thick grayish-cream glaze suffused with a network of gray crackles. Of archaistic design with two large perforations to the foot ring.Condition: Good condition with some wear and minor manufacturing flaws, including some bumps and stains to the glaze. Provenance: Dutch private collection.Weight: 386 gDimensions: Height 12.5 cm
