The ceramic painted with beige, black and red enamels. The second a wooden netsuke carved as a hyottoko mask portraying a humorous expression, with a broad nose and the lips forming a puckered mouth. The backside bridge with a single himotoshi.HEIGHT 4.2 and 4.6 cmCondition: Overall good condition with expected traces of wear and age. The ceramic netsuke with minor firing irregularities and tiny chips here and there. Provenance: European collection.
