Southern Song Dynasty|Of conical shape with steep sloping sides, the interior applied with three resist-decorated quatrefoil cartouches, each enclosing four auspicious characters reserved on a speckled russet ground, the exterior covered with a dark-brown glaze with beige splashes, fitted box. 11.5cm (4 1/2in) diam.
