This is a lovely early majolica pitcher. It is the seashell patter. The outside appears to imitate sea shells. The inside is that wonderful pink that is so popular. he inside is the wonderful pink used on majolica. The bottom of the bowl is marked with the circular Etruscan Majolica mark with the Griffin, Smith, and Hill monogram in the middle. There is an D20 underneath the circle. This mark was used 1879-1889 by thepany in Phoenixville, PA. There are no chips or cracks. The pitcher measures 3 3/4" tall and 3" in diameter.
