A GILT-LACQUERED WOOD OPENWORK WALL BRACKET, QING DYNASTYChina, 19th century. The three-lobed platform above a border carved with three pairs of confronted dragons, the underside with three panels depicting birds, iris, and bamboo. Richly carved to either side with a sinuous dragon extending from the wall edge and supporting the platform, one claw placed on the back of a mythical beast below, a similar smaller beast behind the dragon exhaling flames, all below a cloud-shaped open worked panel enclosing three boys with a deer or goose, surrounded by birds, scrolling vines, and flames.Provenance: From a private collection on the East Coast, USA.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, expected minor age cracks, small nicks, losses and light surface scratches here and there.Dimensions: Height 27 cm清代鎏金漆鏤空雕木托架中國,十九世紀。三瓣托架的邊框雕刻著三條相對的龍,下面是三幅描繪鳥、蘭花和竹子的面板。 兩邊雕刻精美,一條蜿蜒的龍從牆邊延伸並支撐著托架,一隻爪子放在下面一隻神獸的背上,龍後面有一隻小獸噴著火焰,雲形鏤空面板;一群男童身旁圍繞著鹿賀鵝,卷葉紋和火焰紋。
