A RARE BRONZE ‘KUILONG’ CUP, HAN DYNASTY, CHINA, 206 BC-220 ADThe rounded sides resting on a splayed foot and flaring at the rim, set to one side with a loop handle, the exterior with a band of neatly incised kuilong above two ribs. The bronze with a rich, naturally grown, solid patina with areas of malachite, cuprite, and azurite encrustation.Provenance: French trade, acquired from a French private collection built between ca. 1980 and 2012.Condition: Good condition,mensurate with age.
