A ‘GANESHA’ BRONZE BELL, KHMER EMPIRE, ANGKOR PERIOD, 11TH-12TH CENTURYHeavily cast, decorated with ribs to the lip and at the shoulder, the finial with two floral lappets enclosing the seated figure of Ganesha and a central arch with decorative ridges. The bronze with a fine, solid patina with malachite encrustations.Provenance: A private collection in Paris, France.
