Description Flown fragment of Kapton foil insulation from the Apollo 13 mission. Behind a piece of tape affixed to an envelope and certified authentic. The envelope depicting the lift-off of the Apollo 13 shuttle. Autographed and annotated by Fred Haise (American, b. 1933). The message reading "A big bang and change in our plans! Apollo 13 LMP."Condition Report The envelope is in good condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. The paper is slightly toned, more visible along the back of the envelope where the glue that holds the envelope together is slightly more visible. There is a slight undulation to the envelope. Some soiling to the outside of the flap of the envelope, not visible from the front. The fragment is housed under a piece of clear tape. Along the back of the envelope there is a small pencil inscription along the lower right corner with the numbers 163.Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
