(7 cm) high 西藏 約十二世紀 無量壽佛銅像 With the features worn smooth from centuries of veneration, the Amitayus follows the conventions of Pala style sculpture from Northeastern India introduced to Tibet at the onset of the Second Diffusion in the late 10th century. A related figure of Symatara in the Jokhang shares the same slender and slightly elongated features (von Schroeder, Buddhist Bronzes in Tibet , Vol. II, 2000, p. 1205, no. 329D).
