In fact, the three of them once collaborated on a movement manufacturer that supplied famous movements to Cartier.Halter is particularly known for his unique steampunk and futuristic designs. One of his earliest creations, the Classic, was launched in 2000 in a limited production of 250 pieces. It is encased in pink, yellow, or white gold and is inspired by the portholes of Captain Nemo’s Nautilus. The current watch numbered 15 is one of his earliest examples in the collection and fitted in a charming yellow gold case. This watch is elegantly finished with both brushed and polished surfaces, and characterized by the exposed rivets and crown. Inside the sapphire display back is the miraculous winding system that shaped like an O-ring that swings around to wind the watch without obstructing the user's view of the finely engraved movement. Very rarely seen in the market, Vianney Halter’s watches are very sought-after in the current market and his legacy will remain in future years.
