Ca. 400 BC. A black, glazed pottery oinochoe of an elegant form with a circular base, a tall body with gradually expanding walls and a rounded shoulder, a narrow cylindrical neck with a semi-circular pouring 'beaked' spout, a slender handle arching between spout base and shoulder. The front of the body featuring a red, painted band of stylised palmettes.
