A fantastic collection of nine silver penannular-type brooches including three brooches of a round shank with a pin and two parallel plaques, along with six brooches of the round shank, pin, and coiled terminals. Three brooches feature a circular design with two parallel plaques that add a touch of symmetry and balance. The pin ensures that the brooch stays securely in place, and allows for easy fastening to clothing, particularly on tunics or cloaks. The six brooches have a more complex design with spiral-like terminals that create an eye-catching, dynamic effect. Brooches were an important part of Viking dress, serving as both decorative and practical accessories.
