Ca. 200-500 AD. A bronze finger ring comprising a circular hoop with incised decoration on the shoulder and a flat, oval-shaped bezel which features an incised pair of stylised snake motifs. Snakes were believed to possess healing powers in the ancient world, which may help to explain this choice of decoration. For more information on Roman rings, see Cf. Ruseva-Slokoska, L.
