【款识】追遵秦汉媲美商周，此炉以上佳铜料铸造而成，选材精良，其色皮润厚，隐亮含光；其体雄骨坚，入手沉笃。此炉，敞口卷圆唇，略束颈，垂鼓腹，底部下接三个乳状短足。两耳位于口沿两侧，双耳直立，中部圆润，两端较扁，耳洞城门孔状。炉底錾镌长方框二行八字：「追遵秦汉媲美商周」篆书款识，字体横直方折，刀笔遒劲雄强，颇具汉印神韵。古有“大象无形”之说，此炉造型简约，不事装饰，仅以线条皮色取胜，越於众炉之上，是为难得。
