尊與彜原是成組禮器的共稱，宋代之後開始專指大中型盛酒器。青銅尊主要流行於商周時期，春秋後期偶有所見。商早中期，以圓體尊為主，鼓腹折肩，圈足上多帶開孔。商晚期至西周早期有方尊和觚形尊。方尊與圓體類似，折肩上多圓雕獸頭數個；觚形尊又稱大口筒形尊，形似青銅觚，只是體較粗。此件便是觚形尊，工藝精湛，器型規整，典雅端莊，口沿外侈，高頸鼓腹，底承外撇高圈足。器身裝飾簡約，頸部素地無紋，腹部鑄飾浮雕饕餮紋，鼻樑為分界線呈對稱構圖，臣字目，小耳，雙角，刻畫精細，威武霸氣。整器保存完好，狀態佳，古雅莊重，實為古代青銅藝術之臻品。
