Description: A large and impressive jade semi-circle shaped jade carving on a stand, the surface decorated with archaistic dragons and the two flanks with archaistic bird form heads pierced on each end for suspension. Overall a large piece of mottled jade was selected for this composition and added and natural highlights are observed and utilized to realize the final composition. Overall a very respectful homage to the traditions of archaic Chinese jade.
