A 3-PART CELADON JADE VESSEL WITH COVER AND STANDChina, 20th century. Manually carved in the Han style and showcasing a high level of artistic skill and attention to detail. Consisting of three individual sections: The vessel itself, of baluster shape and decorated with a dense pattern of linked scrolls as well as two taotie masks handles with movable rings and a neck-piece carved with rope designs and with two smaller taotie masks with movable rings, the domed cover surmounted by a sinuous chilong and showing the same scroll pattern found on the vessel, and a stand raised on three feet in the form of phoenixes spreading their wings. The semi-translucent stone of a celadon tone with cloudy white inclusions and surface alterations.Condition: With minor wear and nibbling here and there. With one crack extending from the underside to the foot rim and another through the neck and mouth rim, the later with an associated chip. The cover with a hairline crack and an associated chip to the rim. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent.
