A CLAIRE DE LUNE PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASE, HU, 1900sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Heavily potted, the bulbous body of rectangular section rising to a slightly waisted neck, the rim with indented corners, the neck flanked by a pair of cylindric ‘touhu’ handles and molded peach-shaped medallions to either of the wide facets. The exterior covered overall in a smooth pale blue glaze, the rim, interior, and recessed base glazed in white.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and manufacturing flaws.
