AN EMBOSSED SILVER BETEL LEAF HOLDER, 19th CENTURYBurma / Myanmar, late 19th century. Of tapering cylindrical form, delicate and finely embossed, incised and pierced with ornamental designs, crabs, and a fish. The underside with two perforations. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and few minimal nicks here and there. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent.
