Egyptian, Late Period 6th – 4th cent. B.C. Alabaster.

Compact vessel with soft, gently sloping contours on a flat base. Two small knobbed handles on the shoulder. The veining of the finely polished alabaster additionally emphasizes the shape of the vessel.  Rim ground;

Some dark discoloration. Intact. Possibly the floor was ground flat in a secondary stage.
