款识：郭尚先。 钤印：郭尚先印（朱）、兰石（朱）、钱镜塘印（白） 鉴藏印简介：钱镜塘（1907-1983），原名钱德鑫，字镜塘，以字行，晚号菊隐老人，浙江海宁硖石人，中国书画收藏大家。 作者简介：郭尚先，字元开，号兰石，福建莆田人。嘉庆十四年进士，历任乡试考官、国史馆纂修、文渊阁校理、四川学政、左赞善、光禄寺卿。诏授大理寺卿、礼部右侍郎，专司学政吏考之事。 郭尚先一生博学多艺，著述甚丰。他工书法，“本学欧阳，后兼颜，褚”，以致当时朝鲜、日本诸国人争相以重金求购其墨宝。他又善绘画，山水之外，尤擅兰石；其篆刻则古朴浑厚，法度精严，被誉为“深入汉人之室”。
